David Chapin

Bio:
David is excited to be making his first appearance indoors at The Owen Theatre. He recently performed on the plaza in the Conroe Shakespeare Festival’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Theseus). David has also appeared in three other productions with Director Sean Thompson’s UpStage Theatre - Much Ado about Nothing (Don Pedro), The Taming of the Shrew (Gremio), and To Kill a Mockingbird (Judge Taylor). Other Shakespeare roles include The Tempest (Alonso) at Company Onstage, Troilus and Cressida (Calchas and Priam) with the Trebuchet Players, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Robin Starveling) at Houston Family Arts Center. He was also seen at HFAC in Leaving Iowa (Dad) and Fiddler on the Roof (Constable). David has performed in Shakespeare in Hollywood (Jack Warner) and 13 Rue de L’Amour (Inspector Vidal) at Theatre Southwest, The Miracle Worker (Mr. Anagnos) at Unity Theatre in Brenham and in Wait Until Dark (policeman) and The Foreigner (townie) at Texas Repertory Theatre. David has also appeared in Candida (Rev. James Morell) and The Hot’l Baltimore (Mr. Morse). David has had three movie roles, including the feature film Puncture (defense lawyer) and the Lifetime Channel’s A Woman Betrayed.
